DENT 205 - Dental Radiology

Prerequisite(s): DENT 100 Clinical Applications of Dental Materials  , DENT 101 Anatomy of Orofacial Structures  , DENT 102 Fundamentals of the Dental Profession  DENT 103 Medical Emergencies in Dentistry  .
Corequisite(s): DENT 201 Clinical Practicum  , DENT 202 Dental Sciences  , DENT 203 Community Dental Health  , DENT 204 Dental Office Management  .
This course in Dental Radiology will educate the dental assisting students about topics in radiation biology and safety, X-ray production, processing and quality, evaluation of radiographs, exposure techniques, digital radiology as well as mannequin simulations.
