MRKT 120 - Consumer Behavior (3,0) 3 Credits
Prerequisite(s): MRKT 101 - Principles of Marketing or permission of instructor. Consumer Behavior provides a study of the behavior consumers display in searching for, purchasing and evaluating products, services and ideas which satisfy their needs. The study of consumer behavior focuses on how individuals make decisions to spend their available resources (time and money) on consumption related products. The course will examine how various disciplines such as: psychology, sociology, cultural anthropology, and economics, influences consumer behavior. Offered in the fall semester.
