DANC 217 - Ballet V (2,4) 3 Credits
Prerequisite(s): DANC 216 - Ballet IV or permission of the instructor. Ballet V is the final technique course in the ballet technique series and focuses on the advanced technical skills and performance capabilities needed to succeed in the dance world. Particular emphasis will be placed on physiology and conditioning methodology for dance. Advanced movement combinations and variations will be incorporated into the barre and center work. Students will be required to provide appropriate dance attire and shoes. This course may be taken multiple times, but only once for credit.
