General Education Course: Humanities-Philosophy and Religion This course is an examination of both practical and theoretical issues in the area of moral philosophy: Reading will include historical sources and recent and contemporary material on such topics as euthanasia, assisted suicide, abortion, reproductive technology, warfare and terrorism, wealth distribution, capital punishment, and matters concerning the environment.
