MATH 110 - Statistics I (3,0) 3 Credits
General Education Course: Mathematics Prerequisite(s): MATH 030 - Intermediate Algebra ,or MATH 030R Intermediate Algebra w/Basic Algebra Review or appropriate score on math placement test. This is a first course in statistics that introduces the student to the methods and uses of statistical research. Topics include descriptive displays and analysis, classical probability, the normal distribution, the sampling distribution of the mean, inferences concerning means p-values.
