ENGR 201 - Introduction to Materials Science and Engineering
(3,0)3 CreditsCorequisite(s):CHEM 104 - General Chemistry II This course introduces the student to theory and application of engineering materials. Topics explore the relations between the properties, microstructure, and behavior during use of metals, polymers, ceramics, and composite materials. Useful applications and limitations of those materials are presented, and means of modifying their properties are discussed.
