The Computer Networking and Cybersecurity Certificate prepares students for careers in network administration, cybersecurity, and IT support. Combining technical instruction with foundational coursework in communication and humanities, the program provides hands-on experience in designing, implementing, and managing wired and wireless networks, including switching, routing, and LAN/WAN configurations using industry-standard tools and Cisco technologies. Students also develop expertise in information security, ethical hacking, penetration testing, privacy, and computer forensics, while learning to apply ethical, legal, and professional standards. Graduates acquire critical problem-solving and communication skills, enabling them to document, report, and collaborate effectively in professional IT environments.
