100 hours (noncredit)Prerequisite(s): Successful completion of COSM 110 Cosmetology Foundations (Accelerated) , COSM 120 Cosmetology: Intermediate (Accelerated) , COSM 130 Cosmetology: Advanced (Accelerated) The Cosmetology Professional Practicum is designed to provide the student with professional experience in the cosmetology field. The practicum site will provide the student with a broad base of hands-on experiences. Emphasis is placed on preparing the student to perform safely and competently in a salon environment. Students are to maintain a consistent level of professionalism, appearance, and attendance throughout the entire practicum.
