ARTS 276 - Typography(2,2) 3 Credits Prerequisite(s): ARTS 246 - Graphic Design I . This course helps graphic design students gain an understanding of the effects produced by various fonts and typographic techniques. It provides a historical overview and in-depth explanations of the formal qualities of characters and typefaces. A range of theoretical and applied projects are used to investigate typography as a fundamental communication tool. Students will purchase some art supplies. Offered in the spring semester.
