Prerequisite(s): SOCI 101 - Introduction to Sociology .
Marriage and Family examines the background of marriage and family systems throughout the world. Attention is given to topics such as love, gender roles, sexuality, family violence, communication and conflict, separation and divorce, and remarriage and step-families.
