COSM 120 - Cosmetology Advanced
Prerequisite(s): Successful completion of COSM 110 - Cosmetology Foundations .
The Comesteology Advanced course is designed not only to prepare students to successfully pass the state licensure exams, but to prepare them to work in a salon. By this point, students may be eligible to work in a salon with a student permit. During this course, students will demonstrate advanced knowledge of hair cutting, styling, coloring, and will receive training in chemical texturizing, hair removal, skin and nail care, hair extensions, and smoothing treatments. Barbering techniques will also be introduced in this course.
