AUTO 120 - Automotive Intermediate I 600 hours (non-credit)
Prerequisite(s): Successful completion of AUTO 110 - Automotive Introduction and Fundamentals . Students will learn preventative maintenance and service of steering and brake systems. This includes servicing the power steering fluid system, inspecting and replacing steering & suspension components, aligning front/rear vehicle suspension, and brake maintenance & replacement. In this course, students will also diagnose basic electrical system problems. This includes servicing ignition systems, maintenance on electrical/electronic systems, replace interior trim panels, and service mechanical seat controls.
