CRMJ 232 - Criminal Law(3,0) 3 Credits This course is an in-depth analysis of the history and evolution of criminal law and the complex adjudication process. Issues relative to Supreme Court decisions involving search and seizure, arrest and other methods that are utilized to secure evidence both in the course of criminal investigations and incidental to an arrest are examined. This course will also examine court procedures and roles of the prosecutor and defense counsel. General criminal law principles will be compared to the New Jersey Criminal Code, Title 2C.
